Peer Support

Peer Support

As you work toward achieving your goals for recovery, it can help to have the support of someone who’s been where you are and understands what you’re going through.

Our peer support program helps people with mental illness regain control over their lives by providing assistance from individuals who have received or are currenty receiving behaviorial health services.

Our program is designed to empower you to make your own choices about the way you live your life. Our specialists provide encouragement and support to help you determine what personal, professional, learning and social environments will best meet your needs as you work toward recovery.

Peer support specialists work with you to identify and help you achieve specific life goals designed to increase personal satisfaction, improve community integration and enhance vocational experiences.

Individual and group services are provided at our facility and in the community, depending on your individual needs and goals.

Services cover a range of topics, including:

  • Individual Advocacy
  • Life Skills Training
  • Symptom Management Skills
  • Problem-Solving Strategies
